Delete your BrainDetox account

From inside the app
Open BrainDetox and go to Profile → Delete account. Confirm with your password if your account has one. The account is erased immediately and you are signed out on every device.
If you have already uninstalled BrainDetox
Email support@braindetox.app from the address your account uses, with the subject Delete my BrainDetox account. We reply to confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
The request has to come from the account's own email address — it is the only way we can tell it is really you.
What gets deleted
Everything we hold for the account, which is only what is needed to sign you in:
- Your name and email address
- Your password hash, if the account has a password
- The link to your Google account, if you signed in with Google
- Any outstanding password-reset codes
Nothing is kept back as a disabled or archived record. Residual copies in encrypted database backups are overwritten within 30 days.
What we never had in the first place
Your screen time, app usage, limits, blocks, focus sessions and app-lock PIN are stored only on your phone and are never sent to our servers, so there is nothing on our side to delete. Uninstalling BrainDetox removes them with the app.
Deleting the app data without deleting the account
To clear the on-device data but keep your account, use Android Settings → Apps → BrainDetox → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
